The STAN TOMLIN RESEARCH ROOM
The HRFHS Research Room – the Tomlin Room, named after our Founder Member and late President, Stan Tomlin – is a very good place to start your research and make repeated visits. You will find it upstairs in the Ore Community Centre, Old London Road, Ore Village, Hastings
It is here that members and non-members can drop in to get advice and help with their research.
We have resources for exploring all aspects of Family and Local History, including internet access.
OPEN Thursday mornings 10:00 a.m. – noon
Saturday mornings 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
The Research Room will be closed on the Saturday of all Bank Holiday Week-Ends
If these opening times are not convenient, we may be able to make an appointment at a more suitable time – just get in touch.
You will find us ready and willing to help.
